Anti-aging Detox for Healthier Body and More Youthful Complexion

What is Detox I think everybody knows. It typically implies following a specific diet or using special products that claim to rid your body of toxins, thereby improving health and promoting weight loss.


Anti-aging detox, an important part of my lifestyle that I do once a year, to pumper my 40+ body, let's say, to more refreshed and healthier look and feel.

The following article is about the anti-aging detox I learned 3 years ago from a longevity expert. I'll share how it works, what you can do, and everything you need to do to get it done the safe way.




WHAT´S SO SPECIAL ABOUT ANTI-AGING DETOX?


This detox specifically focuses on removing toxins that speed up the biological and visual aging process. Removing these toxins will make you look and feel younger.

Removing toxic chemicals from your system makes your tissues healthier, improves blood flow, increases oxygen levels, improves the health of your skin, makes your hair healthier, and improves your mood. All these things make you younger – on the inside and outside.


It involves dropping all snacks, alcohol, sugar and junk food. Refined carbohydrates should be dropped too. What you should eat includes protein with every meal - meat, fish, eggs, and nuts (nuts always raw, because toasted or in some other way heated are toxic for our body; read more about it HERE). You also should include lots of vegetables and wholegrain carbohydrates.

Very important- lots of good fat (Ghee butter, avocado, animal fat, olive oil, MCT oil, avocado oil, cod liver oil and more...). You may think: but fat will make me gain weight!?... -Absolutely NOT! Carbohydrates makes you gain weight, not fat! Good fat will make your skin plump and juicy, and it`s very good for your brain and overall health.

ANTI-AGING DETOX FOODS TO INCLUDE


Eating the following foods will help with your anti-aging detox:

* Fresh fish – particularly salmon, sardines, clams, tuna, halibut, trout, herring, cod, and catfish. and other fish that have high levels of omega-3 fatty acids. The essential vitamins in fish also help with the detox process.

* Livers, hearts (chicken, turkey, duck) rich source of protein and healthy fats, in addition to essential vitamins and minerals.

* Red peppers – because they contain high amounts of vitamin C, carotene, and the anti-aging detox folate.

* Herbal tea – the herbs in herbal teas give your body an antioxidant boost, helping to remove harmful toxins. I prefer Green tea!

* Leafy green vegetables – particularly broccoli and spinach. They are high in vitamins and minerals, including iron.

*Eggs - Eggs are also a good natural anti-aging detox food as they naturally contain complete protein. They also help the vitality of your eyes as they contain vitamins B12, A, K, D and lutein.

*Avocados - good source of vitamin E, which is great for skin. In fact, an avocado has 20 vitamins and minerals.

*Shrimp- (made in Ghee butter with garlic or boiled in water)The health benefits of shrimp include improved bone and brain health, weight management, and a lowered risk of cardiovascular disease. Shrimp has anti- inflammatory, and anti-aging properties that help to reduce the risk of various health ailments.

*The healthiest way to cook is to cook in water or steam.



WHAT ABOUT FRUIT JUICES AND SOUPS?


Off-the-shelf fruit juices and soups are good examples of foods that you should not eat when detoxing. This is because they often contain high amounts of sugar and salt as well as, sometimes, chemicals and other additives.

In other words, detoxing isn't just about eating fruit and vegetables. Instead, it is about eating the right fruit and vegetables and in the right way.

...The right fruits that we need in this special detox, are definitely the red fruits, like raspberries, blueberries and strawberries (natural red fruits are healthy and high in nutrients, a great source of vitamins and a perfect product for consuming those much needed antioxidants).


 

---Try This Anti-Aging Juice Recipe---


Anti-aging juice packed with antioxidants, great for your body and skin. You just need to blend the following ingredients together:

• 4 carrots • 1 beet • 4 kale or spinach leaves • 6 florets of broccoli (the fluffy bit at the top minus the stem) • Small bunch of spinach • Half a cup of blueberries • Half a cup of strawberries

(while detoxing do this not more than 2 times a week)

 

WHAT TO ELIMINATE, LIMITE AND FOCUS ON:


ELIMINATE:

*sweeteners

*white and brown sugars

*soda and diet drinks

*pre-packaged sauces and condiments

*cocktails and beer

*pre-packaged items with added sugars

*juice(fruit,green)

*refined grains

*gluten

*lactose

*chicken meat (full with bad hormones)

*bad fat


LIMIT:

*dark chocolate (cacao 70% +)

*fruit( except berries)

*starchy vegetables (potatoes, carrots, peas)

*whole grains( quinoa, couscous, buckwheat)

*legumes ( beans,lentils, chickpeas)

* alcohol( only 1 glass of red wine)


FOCUS ON:

*water (2,5l per day minimum)

*leafy greens and other vegetables (broccoli, arugula, spinach, asparagus)

*healthy fats (raw nuts, avocado,olive oil, cod liver oil, Ghee butter...)

*berries

*clean proteins (organic salmon, liver, gras- fed beef, turkey, non-GMO tofu, cod liver, chicken/duck/turkey hearts and livers )

*avocado( read about it HERE)

*virgin extra coconut oil (1 table spoon after each meal)

*eat leafy greens (arugula, spinach,lettuce) with all your meals, even if you just want to eat some nuts or before exercise eat a banana (Leafy greens are rich in antioxidants like flavonoids and carotenoids, which are crucial in any inflammation-fighting diet. Greens are also incredibly alkaline, and help neutralize the acids in your body. When we consume green juices, salads, or smoothies, these blood-thirsty chlorophyll molecules help increase nutrient delivery and oxygenation to the cells of our body. Some of the best blood cleansers are parsley, kale, chlorella, dandelion greens, dill and cilantro! ).

*chew food( every bite) at least 20 times (the more mixed with saliva, more our body absorbs all the good nutrients)

*preferable if all products are of organic origin


The Good Sweeteners - Stevia, Monk fruit, Yacon syrup, Coconut nectar/sugar, Organic raw Honey (the healthiest sweeteners in Health scientist opinion). Then comes Sugar Alcohols:

These include xylitol, glycerol, sorbitol, maltitol, mannitol, and erythritol. These do occur in nature, however, it is somewhat questionable for us to call them natural sweeteners as they are typically processed more than other sweeteners and often made in a lab.

Sweeteners to avoid: Aspartame, Sucralose, Fructose(consuming excessive fructose can increase the likelihood of developing fatty liver and insulin resistance, increasing the risk of weight gain and future health problems).

I personally use stevia as my main sweetener. I am not against using these other sweeteners, but I would use them with caution and in moderation.

 

TIP!!

If you feel that your mind is asking a lot for some sweet, that is not fitting in this program, than do the following:

Eat well your healthy meal with lot´s of greens and in the end take one table spoon of Virgin Extra Coconut oil. Wait 5 minutes and drink a cup of organic coffee (with no sugar or any other additives)...and after some 5-10 min. you can eat your sweet.

(the mix of greens, coconut oil and coffee will eliminate the bad consequences of the sweet you just ate. But you have to be aware that the good things you ate on all your meal will not have the same good effect as usual. So try to not do this while detoxing, because we need all the good nutrition a lot at this time!) This tip you can practice after the Detox if you want !

 

WHAT TO DRINK DURING THE DETOX:


*during the day drink minimum 2,5l water

* big cup of warm water with squeezed lemon in it

(after waking up at morning on an empty stomach)

*20minutes before lunch 250ml water with 15ml Chlorophyll

*20 min.before the dinner water with 1 tea spoon organic Apple Cider Vinegar in it (Contains 16 types of amino acids(!), vitamins group A, R, C, E, B and many micronutrients.)

* till 15pm one cup of organic green tea

* 20-30 min. after dinner drink one big cup of fresh ginger root added in boiled water (allow to infuse for 10 min)


**Don´t drink during the meals and half hour after the meals.



IMPORTANT SUPPLEMENTATION TO INCLUDE:


Detoxification is not only about purging our blood, cells and organs of toxins. A good detox program is always nourishing as well as cleansing. And here comes supplementation!!

THE TAKEAWAY

This Detox will clean well all your body from it wastes and give to your body more health with beautiful anti-aging effect. You can experience weight loss too... If you do not want to loose weight, make sure you have a good quality MCT oil (one table spoon with each meal till 18 pm). You can "live" on this Detox 3 weeks to 2 months... But make sure you do all right. Read well everything two times and write a daily plan for you... Don`t start it without most important supplementation! You do not need all of them, just take what`s best for you. The amount of supplementation you need, will vary based on your personal level of health.
